In 2008 I started my Carpentry apprenticeship fresh out of High School. 11 years later and I have completed a huge number of renovations, extensions and new homes. I was even lucky enough to work on the 500 million dollar extension of the TATE Modern art gallery in London.
I began my own small business in 2011 in order to utilise my developing carpentry skills, and to give an outlet to my creativity. What began as a few small pieces of furniture grew into a variety of projects, large and small, and an exploration into all sorts of homewares, and even fashion pieces. Chippie Timber Creations now offers a large variety of custom handcrafted goods - from furniture to sunglasses to planters to bow ties.
Chippie Timber Creations uses recycled and ‘new’ timber to create unique furniture that can be the centrepiece of a room, or a subtle addition.
Each piece is created with a practical sense in mind, making them not only beautiful, but smart as well; the perfect package! Each piece is unique, having been hand-crafted with timber that is often recycled or has lots of character.
